COVID-19 – Dealing with Life’s Changes

Since early this year when COVID took hold, there has been a sharp rise in mental health issues and suicide.  Just recently, I had a ‘light bulb’ moment, that the book I wrote eight years ago titled As Time Goes By – Dealing with Life’s Changes is perfect for helping people deal with this incredible year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Many of the chapters in this book explore the ways in which we can all deal with the different kinds of major changes that can happen in our lives. My suggestions have helped many people resolve issues – be they mental, emotional or physical health issues; relationship or financial issues. Resolving these issues improves the quality of their lives and helps to slow down the ageing process.

Every chapter gives tips on how to deal with all kinds of issues. An important one is how we think. Research shows that our mental health has a big impact on our emotions and physical health. My motto is ‘Catch your thoughts – change your thoughts – change your life’. Very powerful!

Another important issue is how to communicate more effectively in any kind of relationship. My chapter on communicating effectively gives easy to follow tips on how to do this.

The book includes stories about real people which show that each small step you take to live a more positive life helps you come to terms with the unexpected changes that come into our lives. Practising the suggestions in the book – something I do myself – will enable you to change your life for the better.

You can purchase the book either in print or as an ebook by clicking here.
